Chapter I, Seascape

I have a strong fascination with seascapes due to their distinct qualities. They hold an ageless essence, free from human intervention, that showcases a boundless connection between the sea and the sky. They are visually striking and easily adaptable in a darkroom setting. In the first section, I am creating artificial seascapes by employing darkroom methods like dodging and burning, utilizing only one negative, with the goal of portraying distinct weather and time variations. This chapter also symbolizes the early era of Earth's history, when life was absent, and the planet was primarily covered by expansive oceans.
